The California Democratic Party utterly humiliated itself on the national stage this week by posting what some argue is the dumbest tweet in history.
On Thursday, the party posted a tweet decreeing that anyone who boasts any opposition to “immigration” can’t watch the upcoming World Cup. What they, of course, meant was unrestricted immigration.
Look:
You’re not allowed to watch the World Cup if you’ve ever voted against immigration.

As of Saturday morning, the tweet boasted fewer than 500 likes but thousands and thousands of scorching comments from patriots across the country.
“Every one of those other Countries [in the World Cup] has its own immigration policy, where you can’t just cross the border,” one critic correctly noted. “The hypocrisy is crazy.”
Crazy but typical. Democrats love holding America to unrealistic standards but then turning around and letting other countries off scot-free.
“Just to be clear… You picked the ONE event where borders ACTUALLY MATTER for this? 
,” another critic pointed out.
“So what happens if one member of one nation’s team tries to play for another nations team? Having a national team actually is the single most pro-border concept on earth. Own goal, dumbass,” the critic added.
Very astute point.
“Pretty sure the only people allowed to watch it would be exactly the people who voted against immigration,” another critic wrote, echoing the previous critic’s point.
“Since the World Cup is about national teams and without setting up borders there would be zero national teams. You’d just have the Premier League or MLS. And no one gives a shit about those leagues for a reason,” they added.

Another critic tried to explain some sweet logic to the not-so-sweet Democrats.
“Nobody has voted against immigration. Many have voted against illegal presence in the country,” they wrote. “You people always seem confused about this, so allow me to explain. Just as somebody who breaks into your house isn’t your roommate and a shoplifter isn’t a customer, an illegal alien isn’t an immigrant. Get it?”
No, sadly, they don’t get it.
Another critic drew attention to the fact that the World Cup players traveling to the U.S. for the big game will all be here legally, not illegally.
“The players are here legally, with their passports,” they explained. “They are paying there own way (i.e. team or federation are) and not griftng off of the USA. Greatest event in the world and you have to bring something irrelevant to the table. I’m surprised you didnt say something like ‘Trump is going to kill the Iranian team while here’ or some other hoax.”
Democrats do love their hoaxes.

One critic emphasized how unrestricted immigration floods communities, which in turn hurts those in the lower rungs, especially minorities.
“It’s not immigration that the problem. It’s the financial impact and lack of resources available for the volume of human beings,” they explained. “Flooding areas with more humans creates school space shortages, housing shortages, creates commodity inflation, housing inflation, freeway congestion.”
“The worst of all, political gain. It’s not for the love of immigrants, it’s for the manipulation of population volumes. Let’s get real, you’re trying to dilute the black vote even more. It’s sad that they don’t even realize your plan,” they added.
Others, meanwhile, slammed the Democrats for being so controlling:
